The SRT Robotic Product Collating and Loading system provides the packaging industry with a flexible machine ideally suited to handle the output from medium speed wrappers and collate the wraps into cartons or trays. It incorporates advanced design electronic motion control technology using a combination of variable frequency and servo motor drives.
Machine operation
Formed cartons are transferred from the forming machine into the positioning conveyor which is equipped with special features that works with the randomly fed, continuously moving cartons. At that point the robot recognizes where to load the products. Filled cartons are then automatically released onto a conveyor leading into the carton lid cover loser.
