HS2/60 Lock Erectors/Formers

The HS2/60 Lock Erector is thoroughly proven machine, ruggedly built with simple mechanical operation at speeds up to 60 strokes per minute. Large numbers are in daily use around the world erecting trays and cartons or as part of complete top load lines. Bradman Lake's extensive range of forming heads means that a variety of carton styles can be erected.

Machine operation

Flat carton blanks are stacked in the hopper which can be refilled while the machine is in operation. With each machine cycle a feed bar, fitted with vacuum cups, extracts a carton and places it, in register, on the forming head. A plunger descends, folds up the side walls of the carton and simultaneously engages the corner locks to erect it. Alternatively simplex or turnover end style trays are erected by cam operated steel fingers which automatically turn over the side walls and lock them in position.
