The Compact 3 Right Angle combines Bradman Lake's Flexible Carton Control (FCC) flexible rubber fingers and unique turn correction system. The right angle footprint will suit companies wanting to save space but not in a straight through format. Machine speed up to 120 cartons per minute with a large size range and simple but strong construction.
Machine operation
Filled cartons pass at random from a packing conveyor into the closer at a rate determined by the speed of the infeed belts. Their covers are plowed down and are then gently gripped between the twin overhead conveyors consisting of a series of patented rubber fingers and table top conveyors. The front flap of each carton is sealed, with hot melt adhesive, and the carton is then turned 90º. The cartons are conveyed into the second section of the machine and the end flaps are sealed in a similar manner.
Standard Machine Features
Speeds up to 120 cartons per minute, depending on carton size.
Random infeed avoids mechanical timing devices allowing cartons to enter at any spacing.
Quick size change using digital readouts.
Independently driven Flexible Carton Control (FCC) conveyors further assist with carton squareness.
Servo driven correction system ensures every carton is turned 90° irrespective of the presence of water, product contamination or varying carton contents.
Guarding carefully designed to allow good access to the machine and maximum visibility of its operation.
Patented Flexible Carton Control (FCC) , rubber fingers minimise oversized product jams and uniquely control carton squareness.
A wide range of optional features is available to enable the machine to be readily adapted to meet the customer's specific requirements.
