8 years later Bradman Lake wins a repeat order to complete packaging line integrated automation
20/01/2012
In November 2011 Bradman Lake was selected to supply a significant quantity of new packaging machinery to participate in a large plant investment made by a major frozen food manufacturer in the North East of the USA. This order is valued at over several million dollars and included two HS double head lock carton formers, four robotic DRT product toploaders and two MX1500 fully automatic, robotic, top load corrugated case packers incorporating hot melt glue top and bottom case flap closure.
These new machines when installed in 2012, will be connected to existing Bradman Lake HS double head lock formers and high speed IL250 lugless 3 flap carton lid closers to create four, fully automatic, secondary packaging lines designed to reduce labor and boost line productivity.
The order was secured despite strong competition from USA and European competitors and many factors contributed to this success including the fact that Bradman Lake integrates all of its machinery systems with a common electronic platform using exclusively Allen Bradley/Rockwell components, ABB robots and open architecture software programming which allows the customer unfettered accessibility.
