About Bradman Lake's Interpack system configuration
A smart camera integrates into the Rockwell Automation ControlLogix ‘PAC’ via add on instructions.
The PAC controls pick strategy, product tracking and placement. Using two RA controlled delta robots products are delivered into either a top load carton management system or the infeed of a multipack flow wrapper, each robot picks 120 products per minute. The system is configured to load a total of 240 products per minute.
Collations of products 2 layers of 2 products are delivered to the flow wrapper.
This well established and fully automatic machine is equipped with Servo driven paper feed, Automatic reel to reel splicing, Pack vacuum for air extraction, Pack tucking, End crimp carry over and includes the following features:- No Product No Bag, No Gap No Crimp, Softjaws.
The unique non-sprung end crimp ensure repeatable sealing even on difficult applications.
The launch of Bradman Lakes latest end load cartoning machine, equipped with iTRACK allowing a fully variable pitched infeed and quick change guided pockets to ensure flexibility, efficient product control and minimal transfers, working in combination with a linear inserter the product is transferred into the carton (no barrel loader). Other features include, no product no carton, ergonomic low level hopper and integrated ‘on demand’ glue system with remote glue pellet store and controlled via add on instruction.
This innovative small footprint top load RSC case packer is PAC controlled and utilizes a 6 axis robot via ‘add on instruction’. Embracing full flexibility; the robot is also used to manipulate loading of the collation and case transfer reducing complexity and mechanical assemblies. An integrated ‘on demand’ glue system with remote glue pellet store and controlled via add on instruction.
With an add on module the machine is enabled for serialization and aggregation.
All machines adopt the same engineering standards, a Rockwell Automation Logix platform, common components throughout, Pack ML operating code, with intuitive HMI screens and navigation for ease of operator and maintenance use.
Single point of access with remote connectivity for online fault diagnostics and introducing ‘Factory Talk Analytics’ for system data collection.
